Our Story at QC Lights

QC Lights began with a simple vision — to make the world a brighter place, one home at a time. What started as a small seasonal lighting operation in the Quad Cities has grown into a full-service company specializing in permanent Gemstone Lights installations, seasonal holiday lighting, and landscape lighting for homes and businesses across Iowa & Illinois.

Founded by Alex Perry, QC Lights was built on the belief that excellence, reliability, and creativity should define every project. From his first installation 10 years ago, Alex saw lighting as more than decoration — it was a way to add beauty, safety, and joy to the places people call home.

Through dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to doing things the right way, QC Lights has grown from humble beginnings into one of the Midwest’s most trusted names in outdoor lighting. We’ve completed thousands of holiday lighting displays and year-round permanent lighting systems for homeowners and commercial properties. Our work can now be seen across homes, businesses, and even landmark projects like the Peoria County Courthouse, John Deere Pavillion Lighting of The Commons, and The Village of East Davenport.
